Help to identify strange thing growing in garage?!?
Today, when I was cleaning out the garage, I noticed a strange thing attached to a wooden rafter. At first, I thought it was a mushroom; it was bigger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball, sort of beige in colour and when I gently touched it, it felt like a shell. I removed it by taking it off with a cloth around it, but was too scared to look inside! Instead, I disposed of it in a nearby wood. I live in the south east of England. Any ideas anyone?
I’ve just had a look on the internet and I think it might have been a wasp or hornet’s nest, although rather small – I like the idea of the future PM by the way – something festering away in the dark – like something out of Doctor Who!
Probably is a future PM, that’s the way the appear.
