Should i get Oakley M-Frames or Oakley Radar for baseball?
If Radar, which ones?? path, range, pitch?
Radars.
M Frames are a 20 or so year old design. So if you want to look like a ball player from back in the late 80′s early 90′s… go with the M Frame. Yes, they are cheaper, that is because they are being phased out. Lens choices are EXTREMELY limited and you are often limited to what is available on Ebay or in the Oakley vault Stores.
Radars are the new version of the M Frame and are stronger. They offer similar coverage, have more unobtanium for better grip when wet. Radar lenses are Hydro and Olio phobic. In other words, they resist fogging and resist oil and dust. M Frame lenses DO NOT.
Path, Range, Pitch lenses all have different cuts and your face shape determines which lenses. You’ll need to try them on as some of the lens cuts may not work for your face shape and your cheekbone structure.
I use M frames for shooting and as safety glasses as the lenses and the frames themselves are cheaper. I don’t need the extra “cool” lenses since I”m not wearing them around. I use my Radars for Volleyball, bicycling, baseball, etc.
