Is my riding instructor a bad instructor?
I was schooling for a show yesterday, and my instructor just sat in a golf cart. She WAS telling me what to do, but she wasnt in the ring helping A LOT like all the other instructors. My horse was sick and kept coughing, and popping me out of the saddle, when i was trotting, and then yanking the reins when he` d cough so id almost fall off, then i d get my reins and he` d start cantering so id get scared i was about to fall so id stop. She yelled at me for stoping and then asked me why, i told her i was scared, and then she didnt say anything for like 7 or 8 times i went around this ring. Is she a bad instructor?
Actually, she didnt say anything to me the rest of the time i was riding.
and i really love my barn! and the horses and people there. I dont want to leave.

Yes, she is a bad instructor. I wouldn’t waste my money to be taught like that.
I would suggest that if you have other instructors at your barn you specifically say that you do not want to be schooled by this person.
if she’s not telling you what you should be doing/ getting mad at you, shes not worth you’re money.
